News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Return to Lunar Children

It wasn't as if she were bored or anything, she just didn't have anything in particular to do. In Glorall, she had Rogue to entertain and be entertained by and with her children, she had them to teach and feed. Here, well, her children were preoccupied with other things and Rogue was not. It was simple: Spirane hadn't a purpose for her, but it wasn't exactly bad. It had given her time, at least, to pace the mountains as a form of exercise, tightening and smoothing her muscles; she had also taken to the delicacies that mountain prey presented, taking her sweet time to enjoy them on the upper ledges of the mountain. From there, she could practically see all of Moladion which was enjoyable in itself. She had to wonder if Heyel would like it here; he could quite literally claim that everybody lived in his shadow come sundown. She rolled her eyes at that thought but could not help but smile.

Today, however, she had come down from the mountain in order to hunt down any number of her children or even Sleekwing. After all, he had yet to formally introduce her to anybody and she felt a little sheepish about having come and gone from Spirane so readily without the Protector's formal blessing... or whatever. If she could find them - excellent! - but if not, it only meant she could hunt down some spring hare from the lowlands and bite into them. Honestly, it was practically like a holiday. She even had time to yawn and bask a little as she loped across the flats, her dark figure like a shadow against the stone and greenery. She had been pretty preoccupied by it all until she caught the shadow of another in her peripherals, his own dark form ambling across the meadow with a rather... obvious level of contentedness. They were the same in that regard, at least.

With a shrug of her narrow shoulders, she shifted her trajectory and began to trail after the male. In a way, he reminded her of Sleekwing though the two were practically on opposite sides of the spectrum; Sleekwing was pale and dignified, but this male was dark and appeared to be rather... well, relaxed really. Totally opposite and yet the familiarity was still there. It captivated her curiosity, even moreso as he begun to dig into the plants. When he did so, she situated herself quite a distance away, downwind of course, in order to observe him. It was only when he started off once more that she picked up her pace into an easy trot, moving until she was practically alongside him.

"So, you're the healer around here, huh?"

She inquired with a raised brow, nodding down at the root in his jaws with the faintest hint of a grin. It was certainly less of an oddity now to see a male healer but, well, she was still a little surprised. Well, more curious if anything. In a world where others seemed to cherish and put violence and strength on a pedestal, it seemed strange that a male quite clearly made for strength would choose such a gentle path. Then again, surely the same could be said for her. Female Assassins were still quite the oddity.
