This is my Fate.
It was chaos in purest form.
Bodies, scents, sounds, everywhere. He could smell them, all the voices all the sounds and wolves that converged upon the beast that dare threatened his pack mates, and friend and her children. He felt his fangs make contact dragging along blood and flesh alike filling his maw as the flesh gave way to his doctoring. He didn’t get it to fall over. He heard it gargle and thrash about felt others as they hit the beast until it went tumbling down ward. For the first time in his life he felt truly blind as blood filled his nose and the sounds of everyone moving, yelling, snarling filled his ears leaving him little room to tell what the situation truly was around him. The only thing he knew was the bear he had a hold of, the slowly dying heart beat and pulse of blood, and the lack of contractions of muscle as it stopped forcing out or fighting back. When the bear finally died, he felt it with his fangs and released stepping back just before it was knocked to the ground. He had no idea who was where and in what location anymore he only could smell and taste blood and his ears rang.
He snorted blood that was not his own spurting from his nostrils as he backed away feeling a paw hit someone he had no idea was there. He was slightly panicked; he needed to find that woman figure out what she had done. He stumbled around, so unlike him as he tried to find his ground, where he was at what he was doing but hearing alone was not enough of a guide. He heard Neirin first but death raddles as finally he passed into the void where the true angels would keep him, and Haziel knew he was far to late to help the large male that was Lyse’s mate as well. Black ears made out his voice, his breathing and he was truly blindly trying to make his way through the sea of bodies towards her. His nose slowly was clearing, he could smell HER blood in the mix and more frustration and panic found him though it was not appearant on the his face as he made his way towards her only to hear her move the ripping and gutting. Did she want to die!? Did she want an infection! She just undid an ENTIRE SEASONS work and for what! To get some petty revenge on a dead creature!?
A growl laced his throat his nose clearing though Everlyse’s scent was all but gone to him. Covered in blood he might have still have been just as blind but then he heard someone, someone he didn’t know was there. Viserys. He sounded terrified, awestruck something, he couldn’t tell he was angry and frustrated, but still he replied calmly to the boy for it was no fault of his. ”We cannot help anyone here.” He says knowing it is true, there was no helping the dead, he knows one might live yet, the one on the ground from before, but even then he didn’t think tere was much they could do. ”The old one who lives. See what you can do to help him. I have to tend to a fool.” The last part comes as almost a growl, as howls of sadness break through the air one being Everylses own to much to her misfortune gave the huge male her exact location hidden in blood or not. He marched forward, grace left from his being not caring if he bumped into anyone along the way as he beelined towards her. She was old out now. But he stopped when he heard a voice. Semele’s voice. Perhaps that was what made him feel the first tinge of sadness for the situation, but it was overruled quickly.
”Stulte.” You fool. It was the only thing he could say in chastisement, she was laying over a dead body covered in blood and for what? Perhaps he simply didn’t understand as apathetic as he was. He gave his life for her and these pups and now she aptly risks hers for some stupid sentiments. ”You… get up.” He says to Reich, he thinks the brute was mentioned before but never had Haziel met him, he focuses on the little girl then. ”Semele, move, you father is with the True Angels, they will take care of him. Lead me inside.” He grunts not caring who leads him just so long as he was led, before moving his head down mouth searching over her until it finds the back of her neck and grabbing it not all that gently at all.
She was so small it was an easy task for him to move her body, dragging it as he stepped backwards away from the hulking wolf’s dead body and down the familiar entrance of the den where it was quiet once more, where his senses could work better though he can’t really say what to do now. He was blind, covered in blood until they could get her clean he couldn’t see the damage done, couldn’t tell to what extent she had undone all his work as most of it was slow and interal. ”If she keeps pulling these stunts… she will follow.” He says bluntly not caring who hears her, ”And I will NOT work on someone who knowingly rips it apart. It is a waste of all of our time, do you hear me Everlyse?” He snaps a growl in his throat, knowing from her previously slowed heart rate she had passed out from the pain of likely upsetting her old birthing wounds.
Damn it all to hell. Just damn it all. Why did that dumb creature have to upset the balance of everything.
