He was still a bit lost in the excitement of it all. Agitated would be an appropriate word to describe the boy, with his darting teal eyes and his terse expression and his stiff posture. The calm prince was anything but calm at the moment, and the intense shift in his emotions had left him reeling and naseous. Viserys tried to clear his mind, tried to focus on something other than the pervasive scent of death. There were still wolves that he could help, and that he could do. He knew how to help. Anything but apathetic, Vis was determined to assist in any way that he could. Haziel had told him to help Seamus, and help he would, though he was still rather shaky.
This would be the first test of his abilities as a healer, and while Viserys was confident, it was still frightening. He could heal physical wounds, but he figured that the mental wounds of the remaining brothers would be even worse. Viserys sighed and shifted uncomfortably, but he wasn't idle for long.
Black-rimmed ears flicked forward as the woman approached, her loping gait quickly eating up the ground between them. He gave a weak wag of his tail, something resembling an attempt at civility amongst the chaos. Viserys nodded at her words, morbidly amused at the irony of the situation. Seamus, he imagined, would be walking much like he did. "Of course. That is, after all, my job." Viserys managed a small smile before trotting past her, unwilling to follow her gaze to the gypsy carving out the bear, his awkward gait only exemplified by his agitation.
Viserys approached the den and paused outside. "Seamus? It's Viserys. I am... here to assist." he called inside, waiting a moment before he entered.
He was glad that the den did not smell like bear guts and blood, and for now, he was able to block the scene outside from his mind and focus on his work. "Delya has told me that your hindquarters were... um, as she put it, 'not good.'" Viserys said with an affable smile. "Perhaps you could explain the injury more... specifically." he said with a slow wag of his tail. It was clear to anyone that he was inexperienced, but he was determined to do the best job he could.
"In any case, you'll need something to help with the pain and plenty of rest..." he trailed off, in his excitement he had completely forgotten about the herbs that he might need. Poppy, he thought, it was the most effective painkiller and fortunately in spring it was quite common around the packlands. There was another wolf in the den, he realized, a female he hadn't noticed before. She didn't smell like Asteraia. "You... ah, miss. Do you know where the poppy fields are? I just collected some the other day, but in my haste I forgot to bring anything from my den.."
