She lets the stranger speak, and the accent and foreign words that grace her come as unknown. The Mother of Asteraia is a wolf of the far North, opposite to any of Southern blood. The language of this wolf is not something Rhae knows, but it does strike a familiar bell in her head. And at the name she caught within it all- Quetzalcoatl. She knew only of one other wolf with a name even remotely similar to that. The Taviora Chief, Coszcotl, comes to mind but there is no thick musk of pines and other trees upon the pale females coat. Nothing but the freeland meets her senses, and so she cannot help but wonder in curiosity. She has gathered at least some information about the stranger, a name included, and it gives her something to go off of. "Quetza..coatl-" the name, it feels so strange slipping off her tongue, and yet she preceeds "I do not think we can understand one anothers language but perhaps we can speak in a different manner." To reinforce her thinking, she repeats her name simply and slowly, hoping to make her point clear. "Rhae." Expectant teal eyes search the pale freckled face of Quetzalcoatl for confusion or understanding, either of which she would work with. The demeanor and simple body language of the younger wolf told her that she was no threat, and that perhaps she was even seeking a place within her home. It was an opportunity to gain another family member as well as learn of something entirely new to her- and perhaps later inquire to Coszcotl who she had recently had the pleasure of aquainting herself with. But, until then. Moving her body in a side ways manner, Rhae gave the gesture for the female to enter the territory and perhaps walk at her side, as she was soon to take a single step forward. Patience flows thick through all of her movements, as it does her expression and bright gaze. Life had much to offer, and each individual had their own way of taking it and embracing it. Naturally, Rhae always fell into the position of nurturing Mother, whos singular aim is to help those close to her. And though this pale Quetzalcoatl was but a stranger to her, there was much there and she knew it, just as teal eyes showed it, and waited for the new wolf of Asteraia to step in beside her- if she so very well pleased. |
