I did smell one female's scent more prominently upon from the collection of others he has acquired and wears like a champion might wear his medals. It made me rather curious as to just who this mysterious female is. From her perfume alone I could tell she was far too young to be a play mate for Enderly, but who knows really, for Enderly desires all things lovely and female. It wouldn't surprise me if there was another goddess in his life, be it an imprint or some other fling. If that was truly the case, I may just have to seek out this other goddess, descended from heaven to taste the taboo nectar of the demon himself: Enderly. Was I hinting something sinister? I guess we'll just have to find out.
The satisfaction is written all over his face as he flashes me that charming smile at my sharp words. Yes, it was true that I loved myself, but so did Enderly. And in truth, what was a rose without its thorns? Nothing more than a bauble for someone else to wear around. It was asinine to think that I didn't love myself, and that I would not react badly to being grouped with another. There would never be another me in this world, only those who strive to be like me. I am not the first to be a trickster, I do not claim to coin the title or take all of the credit, but you can never fathom what I am thinking or what I may do based off the actions of another. I am unpredictable, an enigma.
He steps closer but yet does not touch, continuing our little game to see who will give in to the temptation first, though there was no doubt that the demon had less practice than I when it came to restraint. But what he says next makes me completely forget about the game we played, my ears snapping to attention. "Only if my goddess has objections to my company and that of my daughters?" A daughter? Now this was intriguing, and he had me hooked now. "A daughter you say?" my voice purring with delight and curiosity. I could see Enderly with children of his own, some of which belonging to that.....other goddess I assume. But with this new development of a daughter, it only adds more secrets to Enderly that I will know for myself.
"You must introduce me one day," I say, my tail giving a few waves as I grinned. It was a suggestion, but the demand behind it was clear. Was this how he expected me to react? Actually what did he expect me to do? Be jealous for the attention? No no, he would have to fall to much darker tactics to get me to feel even the smallest ounce jealousy over him. After all, she was his daughter, nothing more, nothing less. Atleast I now knew the source of that oh so distracting scent interwoven into his fur.
I moved forward, running my body along his, black and white intermingling like an old time film. I deliberately ran my tail beneath his chin as I went to circle back around the other side of him and come back up front. "I'm so curious as to what a daughter of Enderly is like. Is she like her father? Or something more....... innocent?" I mused aloud, coming back in front of his, but not before running my cheek along his. At least now my scent was present upon that pelt of pure darkness, a little staked claim over him from all but his daughter.
