It had been horrible, watching as the bear was brought down, lives lost. It was like his nightmares relived. He didn’t ever want his children to experience what he had in his life and to this moment he still didn’t. He saw as his children stared in shock and awe and stood dutifully with them. Constantine ran forward and it was Ragnarok’s job to keep them all her and waiting at a safe distance. The calls of pain and sorrow though hit their ears and he looked over them all before he saw Church brining back their golden pelted son. He could see it in every ounce of her the sadness and the discomfort and he couldn’t say he didn’t agree. He was more of an outcast than any of the rest, including his heart and soul. As the boy was brought back he saw as a large black brute came following behind. Embla moved at his side and he simply shook his head at her in warning. They were not to go closer, that was an order by their mother that he planned to enforce and keep.
When she had come back, he gave her a nuzzle when the brute began to speak. Apologizing for what the day had put his children through. Ragnarok looked down at them all seeing the familiar form of Natu trotting behind with a herd of pups in toe. While he didn’t have any disagreement in his children playing with the others today wouldn’t be the day. ”It wasn’t something you could prevent.” He replied to the male, he could feel Church, her own sadness radiating in him. They had much to discuss he felt, with one another and the children who now witnessed death at an age all too young.
”Thank you for the invite, Sir… but… I think my little family has had enough excitement for one day and there is much to talk about with them I think.” He says a frown on his maw looking to his children before continuing. ”Home will be our goal for today, I am… sorry for your loss. We will be back when times are better for you all.” He states bowing his head turning to lead his own family back towards the mountains that was his home. He didn’t want to intrude upon them when Natu spoke though he paused turning his bright icy blue eyes back towards her for a moment face still somber.
”It has been awhile indeed. Though tonight, might be different.” He says before giving his head a dip before giving his daughters and sons a gentle nudge forward. Homeward bound it was then. It was no time to intrude on those who have experienced such a great loss, another day when they wouldn’t have such horrid thoughts on the mind, when they could come to terms with what had happened and only would have joy in the day. ”We will be back.” He assured them all feeling bad yet really he did wish to tell them the way life was, a lesson he didn’t want to teach them so soon. He wouldn’t ignore it like they were simple, he knew that they knew what they saw and best they discuss it with them than others.
