Alethi still wasn't speaking to Soda still, and Naomi had no clue as to whose side she should be on. Eventually the dark girl chose her only friend, wanting to keep an extra eye on her in case she decided to run off. Soda wished she could comfort her daughter, but she had bigger things to worry about; like her pregnancy.
Days went by and finally the day came. It had been early in the morning when Soda gave birth in her little hideaway she had found days before away from the others. A pretty little chestnut filly was what she had, whom she named Scarlett. Soda allowed both her and the girl to rest a while, before leading the way back to their family. Naomi greeted them first before dashing away to go find Alethi.
Soda nudged Scarlett toward a soft spot of grass, a good place for her to rest should she want to. Raising her head Soda calls for Grai, knowing how worried he had to of been with her disappearance.
