Here lies the problem, I have almost a 2 hr drive to YOUR lake I try to ice fish every weekend depending on bad weather. If you think I'm gonna drive that far to fish and if by chance I pull my limits I'm going to release some the next time I drive that far, I don't thinks so. That's like driving to Lake Erie for walleye and release all of them... aint happening. Here is the solution, after reading almost all of the LOCALS post on how many they slammed, you guys are the ones who need to protect YOUR lake and release all your fish back, no instead when the bite is on, you call all your lake rat friends and slam em like there is no end. I've heard the local rats brag to me on how they slam the eyes trolling in the morning, go home clean em , come back, limit out and just keep repeating this process until you get too drunk or tired to continue. So I suggest to all locals, release all your fish so us outta towners have something to catch when we get there
