It is a tad worrisome that Raven does not accept her offer of sharing food between them, but as it is they have business before them. Rhae cannot help her motherly instincts, for that's just what they were- instinctual things that drove her to be the wolf that she was. Even as they move to leave the hills and meadows of Asteraia, the dark young wolf falls to the older females side, and teal eyes do not miss the way she moves. She should be healthy, moving well and fluidly for she is past the awkward puppy phase and almost at her adulthood. And having lived in the swamps- well, Rhae had spent enough time there to know any inhabitant must be sure footed in order to survive there. The other natural home dwellers of the swamp demanded it.

For unlike her now home, Iromar and its swampy moors is a land full of bogs and death. There are traps every where one could place a paw, and if one were not mindful they could lose more than just the paw. The young wolf does not take the Mother of Asteraia too deep into the samps- in fact, she stops just a ways past the border. And then she calls, for her own leader, and the pair wait patiently for her arrival. Rhae wonders what this Aithne might be like, and when her dark form emerges bright teal eyes note the white upon her chest. She is no demon, for no demon that she knows walks with any white upon them. But then again, perhaps that is why there is a change- perhaps she is a demon only marked with white. It could be why Iromar has suddenly seemed to turn around, but she did not and could not know for certain. Not unless she asked herself.

Dipping her large skull down in greeting, her firm voice followed suit laced with warmth as was her way- a matching smile on her handsome features to go with it. "Aithne, it is my pleasure. What Raven speaks is true- I wished to see it for my own eyes, if only to calm the misgivings of my heart and soul." Rhae does indeed speak on his behalf, for there had come a time where she had to step in his place as leader of their home. And as it was, it came quite naturally to the Mother of Asteraia, as did the kindness that seemed to know no bounds. To show her comfort and good intentions, the earth toned wolf took her seat upon the dryest section of soil she could; which in the swamps was no easy feat, but she wanted the Iromar leader to know she meant well. Iblis might hold his deep hatred of demons and all things similar, but Rhae was a wolf to give all others chances. Regardless of their past.

Glancing to Raven, she wondered how the girl was feeling before returning attention back to the older and equally dark female. And even though she was indeed relaxed, creme, cinnamon and russet sprinkled ears keep always at attention atop her skull. It would not do well to walk into any situation blind, and there were more than other wolves to fear here in the swamps. Things lurked within the murk and fog that could test the boundries of the mind itself, and twist and turn things into its own type of chaos. The Mother of Asteraia remembers her time well in Iromar all those years ago, and yet here she stands today, open and willing and hopeful for a better future for them all.
