Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Sunset or Moonrise

I didn't mind the heat of this summer day; to me it was just another day. I had been walking all day to get to this land, the land I had followed Odin to. I returned to our old land to tie-up some loose ends, but now that my duty there was finished I could rejoin Odin's side. Starry violet and blue eyes surveying the land that laid itself before me to see, and I picked a direction to start scouring for my comrades. The dead grass tickling the fur of my underbelly as I made my way to the lake towards the center of which was an island, I didn't hesitate as I jumped into the water; and start swimming toward the island I decided to use as the center point for my search. The water itself was soothing temperature warmed by sun yet cooled by the under current. it had gotten later by the time I made land fall shaking the excess water from my beautiful coat, and the heat was now wearing thin, as the sun was setting; I would miss it's rays warming my golden fur.

The sky was quickly darkening as night has once again cast her spell upon the land, and began blanketing the sky with her stars and moon. However no matter the darkness that falls, I continue to wonder. I didn't care much to worry about sleeping in a den, in is summer after all; a stuffy den would on serve to hinder my sleep, and I fear none for who would foolish enough to attack a goddess of my stature. Despite my attraction to the healing arts, my size could make me a formidable foe in battle; not that I'm any stranger to battle that is. However it'll be a while before I get adjusted to this new land's medicinal and poisonous plants, and I may have to travel to some nearby packs to get accumulated faster and learn some new ways of healing as well. Thankfully my battle tactics could work even in unfamiliar terrain. I find a nice spot in the center of the island and stretch my graceful limbs in readiness for rest, and then I circle flattening the dried grass into a nest of sorts. For now sleep evades me as I curl up in my nest looking up at the heavens above in attempt to fully remember my time there.

I will walk my path, the path of the Cauldron Born
