Name: Salish
Age: Adult older adult
Gender: Male
Appearance: Salish is tall and broad, not so tall, nor so broad as to be a "giant" among his peers; but large enough to stand out in a crowd (and more than once, in his prime, he was large enough to win a few brawls, impress a few ladies). Salish was a handsome wolf, and perhaps he still is, but it would take a keen eye to see it. His furry coat has been come a lackluster, dirty shag rug of mixed browns, creamy patches and a notable dark streak along his back. There are no scars on his face or body, but he is greying around the muzzle, around his bright yellow-green eyes, even his toes have lost their golden dignity and are beginning to grey. He walks with his head low, and fluffy brush of a tail tucked against his haunches. Figuratively speaking, his face is shadowed and sallow.

Personality: At this season in his life, Salish has become withdrawn and quiet. However, he used to be all smiles, laughter and easy talk. He was (and still is) friendly to those he meets. Salish believes in making friends first, not enemies. He was very charismatic and other wolves were quick to choose him as a leader.

Salish has traveled far and wide, has a large knowledge bank of what is safe and what isn't and what this is and what that isn't. He is more than happy to share the information, if asked. He can be a bit of a story-teller, a little bit of a jokester (but the lame sort of jokes, you know, the pun-ny jokes). His laidback attitude has brought trouble in the past, he was never the best judge of characters and he was lenient with second, third, fourth chances. He lost respect with some for this, but those cases were few, far between.

If Salish was all these things, then certainly they are still boxed up inside him, somewhere. One day, with the right sort of encouragement, the sunny side of Salish will shine again.

Optional: Other than being in a deep depression, he's a 100% healthy wolf with all his body parts and all his sense still in tact!

History: This will be more interesting if revealed during the gameplay. The short version though -- he was born to an Alpha pair, he grew up to be the finest Alpha one could be, he had a mate (he lost her), he lost his pack, he found another (he was a First Class Beta), he took another mate and they had pups and his life was complete and full of joy (and then she left him -- she was crazy and he had thought maybe he could 'save her'/be her voice of reason), the pups died and his life crumbled. From there he wandered off in to the woods, trying to escape the past and finding only loneliness, emptiness, and he has begun to waste away.
