must be talking to the wrong guys, 4 of us today walked off the ice with 5 saugeyes and close to 70 crappies and only a few gills, the crappies are right on the bottom and we worked for the bite using gold jigs with lime green tails, no live bait. The saugeyes were bonus fish, we were not targeting them. A big hint to all who use fish finders, most of the times we didn't mark a single fish until we dropped a bait in the hole and when we did mark them on the bottom we worked them off there to entice them to bite Replies: There have been no replies.
