First of all: dat lighting. It can be super frustrating trying to find wolves to match to backgrounds and have the light sources match (at least, it's frustrating for losers like me) soooo CONGRATS ON FITTING A WOLF IN YOU DID BEAUTIFULLY THAT HALO AROUND THE FUR IS SUPERB!

And I don't know if you added a color layer to the wolf to bring in more violet hues, but that also looks good. It looks more natural when the wolfie shares the sort of color scheme the background has.

I would add a color layer to the ground the wolf is sitting on (I usually use soft light for lighter colors and hard light for darker colors); that way, the earth fits with the cooler scheme of the wolf and the spacey-sky. Another cheaty way to make the background blend better is to duplicate the layer, set the second (above) layer to OVERLAY, and then blur that overlay layer using Gaussian Blur. After that's blurred, set the opacity to what you want. It softens the overall look and helps things blend all pretty :3 I do the same thing with my wolf--duplicate, overlay, blurrrrr.

Does that make any sense?

You tried so hard and you are doing SO WELL YOU CAN ONLY BECOME MORE FABULOUS FROM HERE
