Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Ravenna cannot help but to smile grateful at Riopat's compliment, her eyes crinkling in appreciation and her tail waving slightly. She was short and thick and would likely always be that way; in a race she would never be able to beat her brother for he was small and nimble, yet she could hold her own when need be. Sciathian appears quite soon after and she nods to him by way of greeting, eager to hear what task their teacher would set forth for them today. In the midst of speaking Ravenna's head tilts curiously as she tries to furiously think of a way to retrieve said fruit. Climbing, of course, was not a wolf thing to do and it would depend on what obstacles were around the trees, how high the branches, and if there was anything near it that could assist in their endeavor. It would be tricky but it sounded an awful lot like an adventure and Ravenna was not one who liked to fail adventures.

They were not even a part of Glorall so they would likely need someone to accompany them yet she wouldn't fail, she decided. This was for the child of Riopat and as such would be valued even more than any other lesson. She stands up now and glances at her partner, curious to what he thinks. "Okay, so they are pretty high up in the trees. Maybe we can find some boulder close by to get to them by standing on. Or a large stick that we can try and poke them down if we can get close enough. It is probably wise to take someone with us... maybe my dad if I can find him. He might be able to help and no one will mess with us if he tags along. What do you think?"
