Crystal blue eyes can not help but notice that Dixon can not hold her gaze. She curiously looks at him, a small feeling of dread spreads through her chest. Was he here to tell her good bye? Only dropping by for a moment to insure her safety, just to tell her that he was leaving. She holds her breath as his words fall from his lips, and her face falls with them. Her uncertainty can not be hidden, she swallows hard and returns her eyes to him. He gives her the options, the peak? Well, Skylar had been nice to her when she had visited the Peak the first time. She had not thought of that possibility until now. Then he continues, before she can say a word. She can see the indecision in his face, the choice he was about to make.
Then his second suggestion leaves his lips, leave the Lagoon? His brothers? She shifts her weight uncomfortably. But before she can say a word a pale stallion enters the little clearing. Cae whips her delicate head around searching for Zaida, a sigh of relief leaves her lips as she realizes the filly is close. Dixon reacts negatively to the stallion, who was young. She flicks hers her ears at him as he speaks. A message from Lyden She can see the uncertainty in the pale stallion's face, he did not want to be anyone's message boy. As Dixon sneers at him, Cae reaches her pink lips to touch him on his shoulder. "Please, let him speak." She knows that he is trying to protect her from what ever Lyden has to say, but she can handle the news.
She steps toward Alexander, she raises her delicate head. She intently listens to what he has to say. She could at-least hear the boy out before sending him away. "What is it that you father has sent you to tell me?"
It was not long before they were joined by another, Cae momentarily looks over the young girl. She was unsure of where she has come from, or who she is. Yet, there is something familiar about the girl, maybe Dixon would fill her in about it later.
