It felt nice for Spirit, not having to be worried about being judge by him; and she hoped to extend him the same courtesy. To her Vincent felt like an old friend who transcended their friendship, and became something more to her. Still she knew that she has only just begun to understand him, as he had her. However in time perhaps they will eventually understand and respect each other as a whole. she was well aware that one day she'd share with him what her old pack did to her, and maybe he'd help her finish healing from it after all he had already begun to help with it. Be it small or big, everyone had skeletons in their closets, and she just hoped that she could help him manage his; like he has helped her.

She was overjoyed to him chuckle at her joke, small as it may be, to know she had caused him to laugh made her feel great all over. "Good, wouldn't want you thinking that." She responded with a smile. She was proud that she no longer found him intimidating, for it would only serve to complicate their relationship. Alike humor they both held made the dispelling of tension easier for them both.

With their conversation turning to such a topic, it was hard to not be a bit grim. Death was something that hung over every living creature, and the fates seemed to always make sure to remind them of such. As a hunter, her very existence was intertwined with such darkness; although she had never seen their own kind as prey, she felt there was a very thin line between her and those that did.

She saw him nod his head in agreement to her statement out of the corner of her eye, as she put her forehead on his shoulder. She rested there inhaling his scent as he swallowed, slightly surprised at her own actions. She felt him nuzzle the top of her head behind her ear, successfully renewing the sparks, she pressed upward towards his touch lightly. The sparks she felt as they made contact, they made it rather hard to believe that she had ever been skeptical of the idea of imprinting. Even though rumors were always to be taken with a grain of salt, it no longer sounded like the imagination of an over romanced wolf to her.

His quiet thanks didn't go unheard by her, and with a little delay they hesitantly separated, feeling her skin heating beneath her fur. Then he asked the question, and it took her a minute to register what he had said as he cleared his throat. visit, possibly stay, to be honest nothing would make her happier; however she was well aware that it was more than one wolf that made a pack, so she'd have to take it slow. Her first instinct perhaps, was to overly enthusiastically accept his invitation, but she suppressed the urge to immediately answer. taking a bit of time to fully think it all the way through and maybe let him sweat a bit, however considering that he invited her and she wanted it as well, her charade didn't last long. She noticed he was glancing and the ground; she stooped her head so she could meet his fiery gaze. "That sounds wonderful, Vince." She said with a smile and her tail wagging enthusiastically, personally considering how close they had come she didn't mind his forwardness. If they had been any farther apart then maybe she would have rejected for the time being, but she had no doubt that they would have gotten there eventually.
