She spies them at a distance, but they do not spy her until they are almost upon her. So free her Steward runs with the young boy Halo at her side, a child of the wolf Alice who in Rhae's heart holds alliance to Asteraia. She is mate of Seamus, after all, one of the four brothers though now that remains to be only two. A handsome smile graces Rhae's features as she watches them with vivid teal eyes, and when Delya finally notices her and calls out, voicing her invitation the Mother of Asteraia is not a wolf to decline. With ease does she push off from the warm sand, gracefully bounding her large frame toward the duo and then at an angle to meet the gentle lapping waves on the shore. The shallow water of the bay is almost always bright, clear and warm as it is on this day, and much like the warm sand it is a refreshing and soothing sensation. Smacking a paw down toward the surf, a wonderful splash is created, before powerful hind legs shift and she smacks down again and again with a forepaw, moving to a different place each time to create a different wave. Play was different for all beings and souls alike, and with a certain free joy in her teal irises, Rhae is giving a gentle peal of barking laughter before speaking to the two young wolves with her. "Our home has so much beauty and so much love." From Delya to Halo she looks, one to the other in an expectant and not expectant manner. Allowing her long pink tongue to loll out the side of her jaw, panting slightly due to the heat and her thick pelt, she was grateful for the water lapping gently at her ankles. Warm as it was, it felt blissfully pleasant all the same and at least not as hot as the air itself. Rhae wondered if there might be any fish in the shadows that they could practice with, but then a mouth ful of saltwater had never been a very pleasant experience. If one grew accustomed to it, maybe they would have much better chances, and it's an amusing passing thought for such a fun and relaxing time. |
