Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Tesseract could not help but feel tense with the male's reactions; when Tesseract had entered his sight, he had ceased to move; when Tesseract had stood before him, the stranger's eyes seemed to lock on instantly. It was unnerving to say the least, and it caused a great rift to form within him. On one side of the divide, he wanted to imagine that it was merely the circumstances that had caused the actions, as if they were both just as unsure as the other but on the other, he could not help but feel but each and every movement - or lack thereof - was in an effort to disguise or conceal something. It was as if the male did not wish to give away his strengths or weaknesses besides from those that became instantly visible. It was a kind of off-ness that Tesseract had not encountered since his run in with the strange Diveen female, who too had taken liberties with the pack boundaries.

Nonetheless, he tried his best to remain as passive as possible though his throat itched with accusation. His words had been sharp and his gaze sharper as he stared into the orange of the other's eyes, searching for anything but finding even less than he had hoped for. Still, there had been the flicker of challenge perhaps, or at least the flicker of arrogance. It made Tesseract's muscles tense beneath his skin, his posture straightening and becoming more rigged as the stranger begun to speak, slipping into the language of the Angels and Demons but for a minute. He had to think for a moment that, perhaps, the wolf had been affiliated with them. However, the proof was slim at best and for now, he let it slide as a mere curiosity of character. After all, he doubted that the language had remained exclusive. The question was still odd, however, and made his brows furrow.

"The answer should be obvious. This is a home, a safe place for those that do not fall into line with the expectations of other packs." He paused, noticing the way the male tip toed forward and in response, he took a confident stride closer, once more flashing the curved edge of a fang. "Does that satisfy you?"

His brow rose up then, curving above his eye in inquisition as he quietly stood up against the male, displaying the extent of his confidence and the long chains of scars that seemed to displace the fur along his neck and sides. They were a warning in their own sense; they implied danger, that Tesseract had not once fallen to another and he planned to make no exceptions. Perhaps it seemed presumptuous but he wished to be certain and he wished to be thorough. If there lay a threat, he wished to dislodge it before it had the chance to fester. He had dealt with threats before and so, this one would be no different.

"As for you - what are you? Who are you?"
