Until such a plan is developed, in my opinion, the best play is to play league ball at this facility and in this program.
Again, in my opinion, the teams that are interested in playing competitive softball most likely play more than one night a week. While there are plenty of programs all around the Dayton area, the level of competition varies greatly. Likewise, the teams you will face varies.
I believe this is all to the good for teams. If it's me, I play one night in the City and one night in the suburbs and, no matter which way this city tournament plan falls, you will be both eligible and ready.
But that's just me.
