Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

leaving my faith on the danger line;

I find my curious today. Why today and why now I had no idea. Eden. That fool who took my soul, the idiot who encourages impurities. I move swiftly over the terrain, following his scattered scent figuring out that it seemed he had enough of serving someone else. He hadn’t been back to the forest in some time. Good. It was annoying enough having gone around there for so long for that… girl my Anselm watched. I wished he would stare at me like that sometimes. Though I am not sure he enjoys her company as much as mine. They surely had nothing in common after all, I have watched her before. Stalked her from the shadows, watched her and her… toy play together in the lands of Asteraia. It made Anselm very unhappy to see her around another, but to be honest anything to keep her away from my angel was good to me. Still though I needed to see what this idiot was up too, this one that was of my Anselm’s blood but hardly held the purity that his did. Something about him was dirty, both Anselm and I knew it. He might be my soul, by some disgusting turn of fate, but maybe there was some reason. Something that will someday be useful for him.

I stick to the shadows, my black, grey, white and russet form blending well with the various forms of light and foliage that surrounds me. I hear voices, one of a female, and then the familiar, though it was deeper now, voice of Eden. I stop in the shadows listening to how wind is fickle and how this younger girl seems to follow it. I don’t blame her, I have Anselm I have a life full of peripatetic ventures. Lingering in one area was annoying not to mention boring and I knew the free lands quite well having spent almost my whole life out here. She claims she is afraid of being here today and gone tomorrow, having nothing to remember her, well I smirk at that. I begin to walk out, just as she asks his story my one gold and black flecked orb setting upon her then flicking to Eden, amused by their little talk.

”Little wind follower, he has his purpose, to eat everything foul in this world. Eaten any more eyes lately? Her’s next on the menu?” I say giving a little cackle. ”He is a nasty creature, a seeker of power. Am I forgetting some details?” My white fangs that have seen their own share of blood glinted, I wouldn’t touch his little toy, not yet at least. Though I am certain Anselm wouldn’t mind if I played a game with her just spilled a little of her blood. I couldn’t help it, I was born this way, my intrigue in blood was in my very genes, though I had no idea why, I just knew it.

I stand a fair distance away, my back form steady on my white paws single eye moving back and fourth between the once more. ”I would keep moving on less you want your sails torn and no longer be able to follow wind. Or be eyeless. Either way he will only lead you to death, so if that’s not the purpose you seek…” I tail off rolling my shoulders lightly. I only halfheartedly give warning. Really I could care less about her fate, I am more in for it simply to ruin little Eden’s day if nothing else. It has been so long, and I was so weak that day. I think it’s about time I give him some hell to pay for stealing my soul and eating my eye.
