“I’m not going back to yesterday because I was a different person then” — Alice in Wonderland
"Daenerys." her voice is soft as a whisper as she tried the name out on her tongue. It was beautiful and sounded so much more intriguing than her own. She wanted to say it again, but feeling suddenly self conscious Luxe shifted from foot to foot and decided it was better to keep her guard up - even if she was still in a rather submissive stance.
Bright cerulean eyes widen slightly as she watched the fem lower back onto her haunches. The single act sends a breath of relief though her. She wouldn't have to run, this wolf meant her no harm, at least not yet.
Following suit Luxe lowered her rump to the earth, eyes cast low for a moment before she finally brings them up to meet Daenerys's gaze.
"Is it that painfully obvious?" Luxe can't help but frown at the thought, a ragged sigh escaping.
"I've only been in this land - Moladion, you say? - for less than a moon cycle." She pauses, wondering if she should divulge so much information to a stranger. But surely if she was to hurt Luxe, she would have done it by now?
"You seem more at home with your surroundings, have you lived in this land long?" She made a leap of faith, knowing very well that Daenerys could also just be very comfortable in her skin and wholly aware of her surroundings. Maybe she too was a wanderer from a different land, but Luxe didn't think so.
The one thing that Luxe was absolutely certain of, was the fact that she needed to figure out what she was going to do. Sure she could keep running. From what and where, she had no idea, and the more time that passed the more sure she was of her memory never returning.
Or she could find a pack that would be willing to take her in. The only downside being that she didn't know if a pack she was approaching would take kind to her. Of course considering the pros and cons, she knew it was silly to even consider living life as a loner. She
craved a pack, to be one of something so much larger, to have a purpose.
Luxe wondered briefly if the she wolf in front of her belonged to a pack, and if she did then perhaps she would be willing to put in a good word with the alphas about her. Of course this was her running away with wild notions, and all she had done was say a handful of words to the darker femme.
