Welcome to The X-Files Lost and Found Board.

Having trouble remembering the title or author of a fanfic? Search for it here. Are you a wealth of fanfic knowledge? Please, share it.
But when you post a request, PLEASE be specific in the subject line. Title, author, or genre of fic will narrow down the search and direct
people who may know what you're looking for. Generic or vague "Looking for a fic" subject lines are not helpful, as that's all we do here.
And while off topic posts are allowed, we'd all appreciate an OT in the subject line so we know you're not asking a fic question.
It's all about the fic, so it's all good. Thank you for your co-operation.

OT file to .txt file help

Hello!! Okay guys, I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who can help a damsel in distress, aka me ☺️.
I consider myself useless around technology, so any help is greatly appreciated.
I have a Kindle (4th gen) and I've recently found out that I can email .txt files straight to my Kindle, which is so much easier then connecting it via my laptop and going chapter by chapter (especially if posted separately.)
So, can anyone at all, please explain to me how I can put original files into a .txt format.
Ugh, am I making sense? I hope so!
The .txt files I'm talking about is a little box that contains the entire file (story) in one place.
Thanking you in advance :-)
