Howard Thomas “H.T.” Souther died March 17, 2015 in Brandon, Florida after a short bout with cancer and congestive heart failure. He was born February 18, 1939 in Tampa, Florida, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Ted Souther. He had one younger brother, Albert, deceased. He is survived by his wife Beverly; son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Heather Souther; daughter and son-in-law Beth & Jerry Weaver; grandchildren, Victoria Souther, Rachel Weaver & Bethany Weaver. He served in the US Coast Guard for two years before proudly serving with the Tampa Fire Dept. from 1962-1985. He retired as Asst. Fire Chief of Tampa. A service will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Bell Shoals Baptist Church Chapel located at 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon, FL. Visitation and reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to LifePath Hospice, Inc., 3010 W. Azeele St, Tampa, FL 33609 or Bell Shoals Baptist Church (address above). Replies: There have been no replies.
