She had guessed he would be a funny one, and the answer to her question came as plain as the inquiry itself, and the young female could not help the tinkling giggle that escaped at his words. Of course he had a reason to call on the pack, otherwise it would be a disturbance. Her tail waves at his next flurry of language, telling her almost too much in this moment about himself. She supposed she could give him a look around, after all she was never truly alone in her kingdom, the Dread always watched over the Night. Others of her pack would be watching as well, they all had the task of doing such, and so she speaks once more to the lad of gold. "I am Jaidah, new queen under the sky, I would be glad to see if this is the land you seek. First, I must ask, what made you leave the mountain?" She asks after he is through speaking, her eyes assessing him just as he did to her. "I could always use more wolves, provided you do not shy away from the things that go bump in the night. Perhaps, we can prove your father to be incorrect, I thought I would lose to this giant of a wolfess who lived here. I thought surely I could not gain my dream, and yet, here I stand as Asteraia's monarch. But, you keep that bit between us, I do not wish any other to know that I once doubted myself."
She spoke quietly, with a conspirator's smirk on her face, then nodded her head inward toward the plains. Her lithe form moved gracefully through the sea of browning grass, she fully expected the other to follow her, after all a leader does not asked to be followed. She simply expected them to come to her if she called them and do as she willed, within reason for them of course. "I feel obligated to tell you that the entire land is not flat, there are a number of rolling hills, some scattered trees here and there, and a cliff that looks over the beach. There is a path down to it, but it is actually quite a difficult climb. Perhaps, we can see what you think once you have seen the land, I am not quite sure where I will be denning this winter, and would like to know where would be best protected in spring." She sends a smirk over her shoulder as she trots him around her open grassland paradise.
"What are these other things you can do?" Her voice rings out once more after his response to her previous words as she takes him around to see her land. Feeling the other out for any flaws that might impede his survival here. It would not be easy, with wolves like Jack and Reaver and even the queen herself about, one could not be too careful. However, the Dread and Dark brothers and sisters were - so far - good at following the house rules. Gods help them if they disobey the Night.
