After a great deal of thought and soul searching I have come to the conclusion that my remarks about an out of control mob in Ferguson Mo. were spot on. With an iron clad lease in hand I feel that to succumb to the vindictiveness of a few misguided white folk would not be in the best interest of auto racing. With that in mind I will be operating the Mansfield Raceway as planned including a grand opening May 23rd with the Main Event racing series and unlike the thoughts of others the Independence Day celebration with a huge Thrill Show and $50,000 of top shelf Fireworks.
Of course I wish I had never used vulgarity in my posts but my comments concerning a small section of the Black race were from my heart and I believe I still have a right to my opinion unless the politically correct have taken over everything including the First Amendment.
