It hadn’t been a good day for Sinclair. His mate was upset, and he was too without question, but he knew Cersei was in distress over this whole matter. He had shown himself to the leader and he wasn’t sure what he thought about him. He was…. Different in more ways than one to Tesseract. While his father-in-law had been a more neutral strong leader this… Eden was ten fold so. He expected everyone to serve him without question and Sinclair for the first time in his life was wondering if he could continue his happy life in Glorall. He wasn’t sure if he could bow to a wolf like Eden, something wasn’t right about him but the stout, white pelted male could not put his paw on exactly what it was. Some of the wolves stayed under his rule several had and those that followed this Eden character didn’t seem… right either. Time would tell if he could happily serve under this brute, he relequished his will to go after warrior until he knew if he could contentedly be a sword of a wolf he wasn’t sure he could trust. What if he ordered him to hurt someone? He would refuse and that would only make Cersei’s life more difficult. So he was settling on a lower rank, one where he helps train those that want to learn to fight rather than be the blade of the pack.
It was what was right, what felt… best given the circumstances. The usually happy brute today was slow and brooding. He would stay for now, but how long he could never be sure about. One thing he did know was Ryker was staying because he was staying and based on the feeling he got from the leader his carefree lazy brother might not be the best fit for this pack, or safe here for that matter. Sin thought maybe he would have left, but Cersei wanted to stay, Ryk then didn’t have to stay bound here like he did he could go to one of their old allies, Spirane or Taviora. Time would tell though, perhaps the brute was still just on edge from having to fight off a wolf. Sin had been around during the passing of many alphas in the past but non lasted as long as Tesseract did maybe things would be okay, he hoped so, for Cersei’s sake.
He spotted his brother rolling around on the rocks lazily. ”Bro, what are you… doing?” Sin asked sounding just as tired and worn as he looked. He wasn’t sure how he could be so relaxed around this new leader, perhaps he just didn’t have a good reading, and of course Ryker also wasn’t as close to Tesseract as Sin was. He had only just been home for less than a year and he never met the brute personally either. Might have been for the better too with this bum around.
Sinclair moved to sit next to him looking over the ocean his red and violet eyes obviously tired as he scanned the horizon. It didn’t feel the same right now, but it might be a while before things felt like they would be going back to normal again, ”You are staying here?” The question was obvious, but since Ryk obviously had less attachment to Glorall maybe it was his chance to carry on.
