There was something most rewarding about thoroughly making her angry for the first time, and perhaps more so because he knew she could do nothing about it. Fight him? He dared her, he trained to fight after all and he would roll her on her back so fast. She was just a healer, sure she would kick and scream but actual honed skills she didn’t have. Try him. He was feeling good today and teaching her a lesson could be fit into his obviously busy schedule. Admittedly the change of pace from being doted on and felt sorry for to being bossed around and yelled at was a strange, but nice change. That above all else made Grayson fit into that new life even better as his new self. Not being treated the same allowed him to forget, but that old life behind him, but not even just that, now that he was better he was going to start taking control of his life as well. Butting heads with Ravenna would just be part of it along the way.
So as he kicked in her shellfish he felt a pretty strong glow inside of him. Not because he was mean but simply because he was going to repay all the hell she enjoyed putting her slowly but surely. It would take some time, he had a lot of work to do after all. So while she was snarling mad he wandered out towards the opposite side of the pack lands, the pack lands where ‘harder’ prey were. Not those tubby seals that wallowed about helplessly but deer, rabbits, pheasants even. Things that actually ran and gave someone the thrill of the chase! Anything but that gross salty stuff she always brought him or that blubbery stuff. He was done with that and he would show her to some fine dining.
”It’s gross.” Gray replied rolling his silvery shoulders bright orange eyes falling to the girl who was obviously still steaming angry though following behind. ”I mean have you ever had pheasant? Deer? I mean I know you have had to have hare at some point in your life, what type of wolf never has hare? If you didn’t shove that ‘seafood’ down my throat all the time it would be good but.” He stuck his tongue out feigning a vomiting motion before still trekking along until stopping close to a river.
”Have you ever hunted that stuff? I mean really I am curious?” He says again. The flat lands of Glorall were so different from Spraine so incredibly easy to run on and traverse. But when you have lazy water prey and stuff why hunt things that run and fly? He wondered at this moving down and starting to make his way across the river that divided the lands to an area that was far from that salty water and her sea food.
