It felt so… unfair.
Never had she been casted from her home as she had. It was truly a jolting feeling that made her blood boil. How could someone do that? She knew it was how the world worked that anytime a wolf could come barging in wanting a new home but it just felt so sudden and unexpected. Their land was peaceful filled with good hearted wolves who were happy and a very large extended family just got scattered to the wind leaving behind the place where their members were buried. Her father had a challenger she was told, but he had beat him and cast him out before he was born. It was when his leadership was young just getting everything set up and still there were ranks to be filled. She frowned, how much would have changed if it hadn’t gone so well for him? Well for starts she probably would have been born a wolf of Diveen and not one of Taviora. Things didn’t work out that way though, and now she had to go find someone she felt was likely the most frustrated the most angry about the whole ordeal.
”Lucero?” Her voice called softly down into the caves. She was a hunter, it wasn’t like the male was going to elude her for long. It wasn’t unusual that he would pick this place of all places to sit and think in. She worried about him though, he was uncharacteristically upset, or perhaps not, but very upset. It hurt him likely to have his father gone his mother harmed and now some blood-thirsty woman trotting about his home. Defiling the land that his family started to bring up. It was his home, his first real home. Having that taken away well she was sure it didn’t feel good. So the mahogany and white girl moved deeper into the caves thinking about such things, she didn't go down his scent was fresh but there were many shadowed places to sit in and think. She didn’t want to bother him too much just make sure he was all right. After all they were, friends? Significant others? Not quite mates? Something, more than friends but not quite mates, she wanted to help him.
”Lu, I know you’re around here. You want to talk?” She peaked around a few spots until finally spotting the red, gold and black of his hide. ”There you are, you can’t hide from me!” She said marching up towards him tail whipping out behind her. ”What are you doing down here?” She knew very well what. Thinking, brooding something along those lines. Anything to likely take his mind off of, or come to terms with losing their home.
