not desperate to get rid of them, but some newbies might be interested.
this is an addition to the playerless character offer, which you should check out if you haven't already seen it.
my chars i'm prepared to give up are:
dracerdis, male, age undetermined, III:205
* no backstory
* 3-star pirate, has his own faction: the draconae
* night vision; super sight; shapeshifting (rat, panther)
* i played him as having some serious napoleon syndrome, unpredictable, greedy, and prone to outbursts of temper, but he's totally moldable taken by krrazy
rhosalyn, female, early 30s, II:55
* familiar: wings of fire the male pegasus (has his own personality and history)
* came from earth. born in iran but moved to london at a young age, and went to university in new york to study medicine, so she's from all over. came to shaman to set up the academy (she's its original founder).
* unqualified doctor (qualified on earth, but not here).
* has 1 coin
* has 1 child: stellemaria (x joel). joel and stellemaria are both played by alora who isn't around much, but pokes her nose in occasionally.
* i played her as very nice with a strong drive to help people. she had a child with joel during the 5 curses version, when joel turned crazy and raped her, but she managed to find it in herself to forgive him and never held it against stellemaria. totally moldable. taken by vanielle
william, male, 22 years, III:240
* born in 1895 in devon (rural england) and enlisted in world war one. he was transported to shaman when he went over the top in 1917.
* barely played when he got here, but i played up his simple background. he was a human on earth and has never encountered magic before coming here. he was more a farmer than a soldier, really, and was blown away by the exotic landscape on shaman and talking animals and such like. totally moldable.

* she's the "lost daughter". neph was lost at the age of 3-4 and grew up the rest of her life alone as a wild child. she semi-returned to civilisation in her late teens and now hangs out with pirates. she can speak passable english.
* emotional suggestion; shadow manipulation; night vision; perfect recall; elemental control (earth)
* represents the darker side of nature - the kill or be killed. very arrogant, doesn't really understand fairy civilisation, is fascinated by it but still considers it beneath her. usually tries to dominate.
amber, female, mid 20s, IV:344

* familiar: reyna the female reticulated python
* blind in left eye
* telepathy; violet eyes; mark (silver star)
* had a will-they-won't-they probable future relationship with graeling, played by dema. the only one of her siblings she's met is morgana.
* enrolled as a political student at the academy and has a job as a scribe at the castle.
* was born and grew up in the shaman civil war. back then she was rejected by other children as an obvious child of mallos (skin tone, hair) and was bullied a lot, so she grew up fairly isolated. her mother disappeared in her mid to late teens and she lived alone after that, avoiding society. finally she decided she didn't want to live that way any more and moved to the commune.
* i played her as very shy, self-conscious and lacking in self-confidence. her telepathy was uncontrollable and she was repulsed by it, and thought that other people would hate her if they knew what she could do. she was trying hard to overcome her social anxiety in order to be able to live the life she wanted.
