Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

If he'd gotten the chance to really know about how his parents felt about imprints, then he'd know his father was against them until the very end, wanting only to follow his heart, and that his mother lost hers due to.. something. These were things that Solitaire did not know, wasn't around to hear of from his parents. He mourned that loss and the loss of so many years of being seperated from his family, but such things was far from his mind as he looked at her. It was as if all the light was diminished from everyone else as he stared at her. She was blinding, but in the way where he didn't want to stop looking.

What was it about her that had him so enthralled? Because that was precisely what it was. Not in the bad way, because he didn't feel wrong about it at all. He felt as if he had more reason, though he didn't really understand it all that well yet. Maybe she could tell him what this was all about? It was worth a shot, because she was the only one he felt like he could go to and feel safe. Some inner feeling that made no sense at all but he liked and wanted to stay. He wanted to know what her name was, wanted to hear her voice and know what she wanted him to do. It felt like he should be doing something..

An ear twitched at her laughter -- even from this distance -- and it was like a type of music to him. Solitaire wanted to hear it again. Yet Tristan hadn't answered him, but that seemed almost like a moot point, because she was moving closer. His skin still felt tingly and strange, but he felt better with each step she took towards him. In any other situation, any other female, Solitaire would feel the opposite of this. Something that had festered under his skin (not literally) from when he was younger, from what he had been made to do when he was with the vagabonds. Lure others to the group. He didn't like thinking of it.

It was difficult to think on horrible things when he was looking at her. While she was moving ever closer to where he was. It made him jittery, but in a good way. Like a christmas morning, but he had no expections. No idea how to really expect much other than simply being near her. She meant for her hips to catch his attention so they did, and when she comes almost impolitely close to him, Solitaire doesn't mind at all. He doesn't get what she's talking about, but he doesn't back-talk her, either. "I'm Solitaire. What's your name?" His voice is breathy, like he's hanging on to everything she says. And he is.
