the night sky would have suited me much better, but the sun had to set each day, and I had to adventure out, I suppose. My black and gold form moved with the bulk of a man who knew long years. He moved easily, twisting his form around the trees as he shuffled his weight. Midnight blue eyes tracked the movement of those who were gathering by the river. There was no one he recognized by scent, and so, I felt as if I should keep moving away from them. But there was some who looked like they needed the company. And not that I was great at it, but I moved my dark self towards the group. My face was a stark contrast from my gold and black body, the white splash coming up from underneath my chin and reaching upwards. It was a mark that was different from anything I had before, but I figured it came from Mom’s side of the family. Not that it was bad or anything.
