Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

He still had yet to venture to Diveen. For some reason he feels an ill unease for the idea of going there, and he cannot figure out why. Yes, he knows that he dislikes the illusions of those who thought of themselves as angels or demons, but it wasn't that. If it had been that problem, then he would never have gone into Iromar, but he had. He had gone there to see what they were like, if the delusions were gone for the most part and not how the pack worked. Didn't seem to be at this point, though there were those in the pack that still thought that way. Always some stragglers, though. To be expected.

Sometimes there was an urge to cling to what was known, and Riot understands that to a point. Understands it enough that he wanted to return to the general area of his birth and make a name for himself here. The pack of doing so did not matter much, though perhaps it was distant memories that plagued him the most. Maybe it was because of the fact that Diveen had been where he was thrown away at. That sounded somewhat reasonable to him, and maybe for that fact he would simply cross Diveen off the list altogether... if it was keeping him away so far for that reason.. he would never be able to think straight there.

With that in mind, Riot decided it was time to rest for the night. He had been walking around, going from one pack to the next all week and it was draining. He had slept here and there to keep himself from being over-tired, but he supposed thinking of the past was another nail in the coffin and it made him wary and discouraged. Winter was starting to hit, and Riot still had no pack to call home. But.. he was getting closer to finding out enough.. He thought. For now, he had found this little island thing off the river, and curled up to take a snooze. A light one, because you never knew...
