 2; MUTT; 16’3; DEAF; RURISK x INDY It was quiet and cool; two things are pale lady enjoyed. There were no awkward conversations, no bumping into strangers. The desert was the perfect home and allowed her and her issue to be at peace, yet as Cari stood at the edge of the little oasis she can't help but to ache and yearn for some sort of attention from someone, anyone really. The season only amplified her desire for a friend. Sadly no one was around it seemed. A few scents lingered, one of them being Orhan but she hadn't spotted him when she came out of hiding to get a drink. It made her sad, not being able to find the one horse she did want to be around. With a huff she moves away from the murky water, the long grasses brushing her legs as she walked up the nearest dune and disappeared over it. Cari didn't know where she was going now, and it hardly mattered to the deaf girl as she trekked across the sands lost in her thoughts. She often wondered what would have become of her if she had stayed with her mother. Would she have spent the rest of her life stuck to the spotted lady's side or maybe her mother would have found her a stallion herself instead of leaving the choice up to Cari. She liked Orhan though, he was sweet. Carisa knew that despite her thoughts she'd always have a place here in the desert.  |
