She wouldn’t be all wrong in her assumptions she was making about my line. Many of my family members were assassins and warriors. Most of them actually were very capable fighters and assassins alike, and it wasn’t even just my mother’s side. My father is a great warrior, his father the undefeated Samurai King, looking at Mother’s side I know she too was a proven fighter, and her father The Assassin King and had defeated many opponents. Not to mention several of my uncles, cousins and even two of my aunts were proven assassins and a few more cousins were warriors. Not to mention my Cousin Eden and my mother both ruled packs. It simply showed our family’s aptitude, blood wise, fight and be good at it. It was in my blood. Training played a large part in how far the skills would go, how could they could be, My run in with Calliel showed clearly as the wound on my nose, but still I knew I wouldn’t be that bad if I tried to fight I’m just… not honed. With training I knew I can be good if not great. Sure not all of it was blood and some wolves could break from their molds, but I didn’t think I was one of them, nor did I have a need too. There was no effete here, I had to work to gain the skills I wanted.

My posture didn’t shrink before Aithne; I was still netural all the way even as she marched up to me and looked over my mostly white form with those bright emerald eyes of hers. They felt like they were boring into my soul, or perhaps, gauging how useful she thought I was. I would have the chance to prove myself and become useful, hopefully if she could see the lack of thick muscle under my fur she would give me the chance to gain it and not turn me away and let me join her marsh wolves. I stood still my mostly white fur billowing in the breeze feeling a little wave of relief as she spoke asking him to give his name and purpose. I gave it thinking about how Calliel didn’t want me here, how obvious my origins were and how she worried that I would be the next Nevaeh, only since sucked at fighting, I would be the one dead. I knew didn’t think I had anything to worry about but Aithne would soon set me straight on that too.

I know who he is by name, he was the Advisor of Diveen for years and I heard he came here following his imprint. It was a first step I suppose being the first Diveen wolf here. I am sure you know of my families aptitude for the work, I need to train, hard but that is what I wish to be for you.” I say firmly hoping that she will allow me the position and the time to train and work for it.

”What would I need to do to train and prove myself as one?” I wasn’t taking the most traditional route of my family but I knew it would still be good and I could still embrace some of my families traditions regarding it as well. But first… I needed a teacher.
