How terrible would it be to find out he was tossed away by those pretending to be angels because of those considered demons? It would not be a good day for him, but perhaps that was why he had grown up thinking those delusions were nonsense, even if he never knew the reason that he had been sent to the pretenders. A shock to the system if it ever rained down upon his head, these truths behind such sad masks. Riot was above that kind of thing, and who was to know how his feelings might alter if he did find out all the things that had so far been hidden from him? Asking the pretenders did not good, for they never told and Riot would only wish them harm if he were denied the truth one more time. He could not risk being anywhere near them. Though he also did not know where they were.

Soon it was not just Raven who was there before him, but another female who acted more dominate. The alpha, he supposed. So many female rulers, which was interesting. He had no qualms with it, but it did tell him that the females in this land had drive, and that part was quite a good thing in Riot's opinion. He wasn't certain how he felt about the males thus far (except one), because mostly it was the fairer sex that came to his calls. Or, at least they were the bulk of them if not all of that gender. Did that mean the males had less drive now? That the females might be different from most outside of this place? Riot was most curious about that, but it had nothing to do with his search for a decent pack. That would have to wait. Perhaps he could speak to Pan of it later.

It is good to hear the alpha speak on the matter of demons and angels being drivel and over; no longer a stain on the marshes. This was a good thing indeed, and Riot tucked the information away to think over later. He was unsure as to the fact of only females so far -- another had come along -- and if that told him where males held rank, then he was not going to get anywhere here. Still, he could ask and see if it was just the unworth of the males that held them back and let the females rise so high. These are the things that he wanted to know, after all. The alpha speaks of those with drive being the ones that rose in ranks, and this he could do, yes. He had that drive, as it would seem if they all knew how carefully he was going from pack to pack to select only the best of options.

The terms seemed good, ranks were available and that question was answered (he thinks), and he nods to the alpha's question. "Yes, I do. I am carefully considering my options for a pack, to see which one fits my needs the best, where I will be able to give the most back to." This is his answer, and he now has better thoughts of Iromar, which is good. So far there are just the two packs that stick out to him. When Raven asks him if he has any other questions, Riot ponders it for a moment. He thinks he has what he needs to know for now, but he did have to ask one more thing; "To gain ranks, I understand one needs drive, but do you also use the task system to decide on worth for said ranks? And is there anything else you'd like me to know?" This was a good question to ask, wasn't it?
