Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Everything changes, for better or worse, mockingbird

woman ~ eight ~ in love with Mortz ~ bound to Mockingbird ~ of Glorall
She had felt the soul crushing disappointment in his heart when she announced her mate, that she had already been going through her life without him. It ripped her apart inside to watch him walk away from her, but she could not ask the grey and black brindled male to stay in what could only be called a disaster area. Mortz was not supposed to come looking for her, she had no idea he would even come back after what had happened. It was a horrible hand to be dealt, to find a hope as his had been and to break that and watch the other half of you crumble behind his eyes and know it was your fault. Always, she had imagined her soul to be the perfect half of her, and to know she had caused him very real pain hurt the healer to the core.

It seemed as though she were only good at being alone, only good at making everyone around her disappear into air and never return, but she could not let Mockingbird get away with only this paltry introduction between them. Her heart could not bear the sadness he gave her, as his could not bear hers. She wished to speak with him, know him, become a friend. Before she had felt the bond, it was more a friendly, puppy-like crush on her imprint. Now?

She had once promised herself that if she found another, and he was right for her, she would keep him at her side. The small white female moved slowly over Moladion's face, searching for the male she shared her soul with. Maybe she could run from everything and just never return to her home of loneliness. She wouldn't have to worry about the life she left behind, no one else had ever cared about how she felt when they left. Even Mockingbird had simply backed away and walked off from where she was, though she hoped he had given a second or even third glance back to her. Would he leave her as her mother, her last imprint, Mortz, Story, Novel, Rune? Would he be another name in her long list of those who abandoned her, or would she be able to find him?

"Mockingbird?"

She calls in soft, pleading tones. Hoping he is near her, and can hear the need to talk in her voice. Always the sorrow remains, always the deep rooted sadness. What if he really had left her? What if that one glimpse of him on the lake was all she would get of the wolf who was supposed to be perfect for her? If there were gods, Riopat would be praying to them to let her find him here.
