He had come back because there were always at least two trips given, and if he had done this for the other packs -- aside from Diveen, of course -- then he really must see it through and come back here as well. He'd been curt the last time, not really interested in standing there and hearing any nonsense of a cryptic sort. Not his thing, he would rather have it said as it was, all laid out before him. He liked it bold and blunt and without beating around the bush for the answers he sought. Nothing should be about pulling teeth, as it were. So, Riot wanders back to the borders, wondering if this time would be like the last or not.
He honestly hoped not. That there was something more about this pack than there had appeared to be before. He didn't like waiting, didn't like having the Winter creep up on him and settle down when he should already be in the pack of his choice and working his way up the ranks. So why wasn't he? Because he did not rush the process, because he needed to be sure. That was, again, why he needed to give this second chance and see if this time he could gather the needed information to ponder over. And it would be nice to hear another mindset on the matter. Though he didn't expect the scene he came upon.
And it was too late to turn back now, they'd probably all seen him by now. Two youngsters and the alpha. At least it was her greeting them, so he could get a word in with her. For now he would wait a little behind the younger ones, settling down on his haunches to wait it out, giving a dip of his head to the alpha (and the other two, if they cared to give him a glance). Riot could be patient and wait this bit of time out, and listen to what the pups said. Plus, he was curious as to what might happen here, since he'd hear of nefarious things of those living within..
