Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

MAGNUS
|| Glorall’s || Heartless || Haunts Fjallraven’s Soul ||

He could tell how hungry she was and excited to be fed his food. He couldn’t continue enabling her poor behavior of not hunting and not trying by continuingto feed her. Hunger was the best teacher for hunting. When he was hungry he went viciously after anything that moved when he was a child. He flashed back to times where he would eat the Diveen insects like grasshoppers on desperate days. Then as he got better he would eat mice or the small lizards then upgraded to hares and other small game in time. Prairie dogs also were good in Diveen for a pups hunger and to catch, maybe like him his mother knew he would always catch something, but he really doubted that she cared. He figured himself quite valorous for even trying such a trick with Fjallraven, he wasn’t sure how well he could handle watching her fail over and over again, but he had to try and just grit his teeth and bare it.

Magnus could tell though just how excited she was with the whole idea of eating his pheasant. He shook his head though as he snapped it up at her giving a little growl when she pouted at him. She was not a child, she was damn near full grown and even if she were it was about damn time she learned to take care of herself anyway. She could look sad and hurt all she wanted he had to make her do something if she was going to survive. What if he died? You know, protecting her ass? Who would take care of her then? The bears and cougars probably. She had to at least be able to hunt and do that much and with this new alpha, she had to be able to do something she was probably the very thing he hated, MAGNUS hated for gods sakes! and he didn’t blame the new alpha for wanting to squish those like her out. She was just lucky, if she wasn’t his imprint that day he would have left her to shrivel up and die on the ground there. But no, fate was in her favor instead he found himself soul bound to her and trying to help her, and hopefully she wasn’t as hopeless as his cause felt.

As he marched off towards the sea she followed, and she better too. He placed his pheasant upon the rocks leaping down and began wading into the ocean slightly moving over the craggy rocks here and there knowing her soon to be worst thing would be in her way. Magnus didn’t care that she bumped into him, he looked at her with the bright green eyes before stopping looking at the prize he had been seeking here. When she asked her question he shook his head, ”Not unless you do very poorly at this no one should have to swim.”

He says befor motioning with her paw to take a look, he could tell she never likely seen oysters and clams in her life, but here they were and she would eat them and like it less she wants to starve. ”These Oysters and Clams will be your meal until You figure out how to hunt better things. Thankfully they don’t run, hide or do… anything. You just-“ He wipped his paw through the water cracking off one of them from the rock before pushing it up the surface, ”and you got yourself a meal.” He says pushing it towards her, ”When you get about ten of these let me know, you even get the freebie.” Look he was still being nice. Freebies? Hah he could dream that his mother ever gave him or Alphonse anything.

”Well? Start trying to do it yourself. Go on.” He said taking a few steps back and flopping back on his haunches giving her an expectant look and waiting for her to get going.

Look into my eyes;
It's where my demons hide.
