The wolf who had brought my brother back to me had caught my interest. Upon first meeting her she had seemed somewhat timid, a friendly creature with a kind soul. So when Kiyomi had made her desires to rise to Spider known to me, I had been somewhat surprised. It was not that I thought her incapable of such a thing, I just was unsure if her personality was flexible enough to suit such a role. Natu had done much to prove her worth as Spider to me, transforming herself into what was easily mistaken as an Iromarian wolf to fool her close friend Ailith, and even me. Part of me wondered if this shy black wolf held similar capabilities; though I would not judge her against Natu’s performance, only her own.

When she successfully took a wolf from the free lands captive I had promoted her to the occult, but now I wished to know who this wolf she had brought here was. Had her judgment of character been clear; was this wolf someone who might benefit our pack if she remained? Time would only tell, and I wished to meet this shewolf Khaleesi myself. So I followed Kiyomi at a distance as she moved to greet her, remaining out of sight as she made her way towards the wolf.

I gave them a moment of solitary introductions before I too moved to greet the shewolf. I jogged out into the open and approached the two younger femmes, my banner waving high above my back in a friendly manner. First I moved to Kiyomi, brushing my shoulder against her’s in greeting before turning to the newcomer. “Hello, I am Daenerys Mountainborn, Queen of Spirane and Protector of the Realm. Might I know your name?” I gave pause then, allowing her to introduce herself if she was comfortable in doing so. Only when she gave some reaction did I continue. “I want you to know that though Kiyomi has by all accounts ‘stolen’ you here, you are no prisoner. You are a guest upon the mountain, and I ask only that you stay one week with Kiyomi as your guide. If you find that you enjoy your time here at its end, and Kiyomi in turn finds you of good character, you may be invited to remain and call Spirane home.” It was a fair bit of information to unload on the displaced young girl, but I wished for her to understand the reasoning behind her being taken into our lands. If she did not enjoy her time here, after a week she would be free to leave and never return.
