Re(5): One Significant Supermodified

I guess looking back the Doug Duncan/Warren Coniam 6 car would have to rate right near the top for me.

A very successful car designed by a guy who had toiled long and hard to produce a series of successful race cars including rear engine machines. Bruce Waddell had it after Coniam, drove it a few times and then it disappeared. I am sure someone knows the history beyond but that is my last knowledge of the car.

I also had a special place in my heart of the Don Rammage Show Car racer. Don was a great guy and I miss seeing him behind the wheel. I think Didero raced this car a few times before moving on to another chassis for the Rammage team.

Great input guys. These cars are just so unique, they can be competitive for years as stated above about the 74.
