Collins also ran the 110s in the day meet in an impressive blow out of unseeded/unrated competitors 14.38 if I remember correctly. He probably belonged in the seeded race. To put it in perspective he has only ran one 110 race faster (state prelims last year where he ran a just barely wind legal 14.21 W+2.0). Prior to the city meet last year he hadn't ran a wind legal time less than 14.6. Strong as ever is certainly right. He ran at the indoor state meet as well, so hitting the ground running is also a very good description as well.
