Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He had wanted to be back and now he was. He had a place within Glorall again, and he was trying to be a working part of the pack. Hunting, learning to fight with Sinclair, doing what he figured was needed to be seen as worthwhile here. That was his goal, after all. To have and keep this chance to stay near family (even if only Tristan cared to forgive him for his absence), and be home. Because this was his home, where he had felt the most connection to. Yes, he had been cubnapped, and yes, he hadn't been allowed to return when he had tried, but this was a different time, and Solitaire was ready to put the past behind him and reach for the future. That was precisely what he was doing now.

Except he had no idea what to do about seeing Viora again. It was strange, and he didn't know what to do, what to say about it. How to deal with seeing her again and knowing that maybe she wouldn't care to know he was back at all. That was something to give him pause in having spotted her here. Thinking she'd left with Tessaract had left him unaware that he might just run into her while in Glorall, so it was fairly surprising to stumble into this situation. Her gaze was suspicious and he doesn't blame her for that, he simply endures it quietly. He lets her have her moments to digest the information that he was here and that he was, well... him. It was surprising for her as well, he was sure.

He doesn't know what she was thinking, so it was up in the air in which to react to it. Then her nose wrinkled, and Solitaire was leaning to Tristan was probably right about her. A second or two later she was standing, jumping down from her rock and marching towards him. Solitaire watched warily, but did not move from his spot. If she had something to say to him, then he'd hear it and go from there. But this was now as much his home as anyone's and he wasn't interested in being shoved out. He's unruffled by her stance, listening to her words. "Here and there, since your precious Tessaract decided not to let me stay when I was a yearling. Guess you never cared enough to find out, so don't act like it's all on me. Play another song, Viora. That one's already old." Guess she brought that side of him out more. What did you know.
