During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Don't hold back your voice, a slither went down her spine, and her auds twitched in the direction of his voice, her eyes turning straight ahead, half lidded portals trying to keep her in tow with the gravitational pull of the earth. Every sound was too loud with her heart pumping like it was. His voice was the sweetest, most sought after part of it, but she could also hear the shuffle of his claws, the movement of her pelt, the drip of the long forgotten rain. I'm listening. If he couldn't feel or tell her excitement before, he was bound to pick it up now. Nervous, untouched excitement that had never been touched on before. His kisses and touches burned her like wildfire, marking a place upon her heart just as the flames would a mountainside. It was now that she was totally within a trance. On the bridge of enlightenment.

The one mistake that Kobato made right away was that she became tense as his body moved to fit together with hers. His forelimbs cradled her possessively at first, and for the first time in a while, Kobato felt fear. Flashes of what she had faced before, when her mumbled words of affection reached his eardrums came flying back to her. Her body stiffened instinctively at the thought. This sharpening of her muscles would not make life easy for her here, and her panicked quickening of her breath and a telltale exhale of her vocals displayed as much. It hurt her. It really freaking hurt. Kobato withdrew her neck as soon as she had passed through the point of seeing spots, and gradually she became more comfortable with the form and movements of his body. She was able to time herself and finally have the ability to even listen for his own vocals, and this brought her the most joy. Sounds she didn’t know she could make escaped her jowls, bringing embarrassment to her face. Screams, moans, whines. Everything was brought out, just as he had wished for her to do. It brought her endless heat to her face, but she couldn’t hold it back even if she wanted to.

She dare not move when the ordeal was over. Instead, she left all her weight on her side and gulped in deep breaths of air. Talk about literally taking your breath away. Her listeners stayed twisted back, close to her tiara, the baby fur at their base sleek with sweat and tampered with by kisses. Her sides heaved, absolutely drained. Every inch of her body felt strange. It was both exciting and revolting for her. She didn’t want it to be anywhere near the latter, but how could she ignore it? Perhaps hit was because this was her first time that she felt so… ‘unclean.’ That she felt defiled. But as she turned her head to cast glazed gazers at Vladya, the feeling disappeared. She flinched as she shifted to a more comfortable and colder area of dirt. Still her breathing had not eased very well and she struggled to keep her cool while the proof of the warrior’s work still reverberated through her heartbeat and audibly presented itself. She cast a shy glance in his direction (not that she SHOULD be feeling shy because dear god she had just given herself to him what was there to be shy about now?), knowing full well that he would continue to hear her pants until she had eased into a more comfortable heart rate.

If he had not already moved towards her, she would take her own initiative and close in on him, erasing the distance and pressing herself up against him. No doubt her body would ache for the day to arrive, but it meant nothing to her. So long as he did not leave her side for the next eight hours, she would be entirely entranced. If he did… Vladya just might find himself with a very introverted little girl on his hands. Kobato was delicate right now. More so than ever. And it showed physically, though the girl was not conscious of it. She was shaking. Trembling. Though her expression did not show fear, which would move the reason as to why to: 1) drained or 2) disbelief. Either way, she couldn’t get herself close enough to her fanged demon. Skin to skin wasn’t enough. But how could one be closer? There is no way to be. So little Kobato rested her chin across the space between her dragon’s shoulder blades and closed her eyes. Vladya, she mused, in a lulled voice that was too close to sleep for comfort. I love you as well.

Sleep came easily.

But just as easily as this sleep came, a shadow lurked in the near future.
