I know that I'll have to do more than simply watch the borders to earn a place in Asteraia but that's okay because I plan on earning a spot here, just as I always have. I was once in a place of power, a king among kings and I gave it all up to follow something more true, a better way of life. I left with my maker and let him show me the true way, the only way for our kind to live. I was reborn and then I found my way to a place called blossom, where I first set eyes on my one and only love, Seline. A Satanican queen and damn proud of it, she learned to read me like a book. Now that we're here, I don't see as much of her but I know she's always near, and housing my unborn cubs in her womb. I have seen her starting to show and it fills my heart with pride to know more children like Kronos and Cuirass will be populating Moladian. They are strong and independent, a force to be reckoned with and they haven't even lived to their first year. They are sons and warriors.
And here another voice is calling from the borders. Jaidah has been quite busy keeping up with all the wolves here and the new ones piling in. When she doesn't come, usually one of her children is close by. For as young as they are, they surprise me with their attention to the land and its borders. I hope Kronos and Cuirass will learn from this. I know Kronos has always gotten the attention of one of her daughters. I smirk at the thought of it. Leave to my son to befriend a princess. But meanwhile no one has come to see this voice yet. I can still smell her lonely perfume on the wind. Guess that leaves it to me.
Something about her stance is almost sad, like she's already given up and I can't help the way this stance feeds into my hungry veins. I want to prey on this feeling immediately but I remember the rules of Asteraia. While she is here, she is protected from the wolves like me, the wolves who prey on other wolves. I grumble in my throat at the inconvenience but I can at least be polite for now. Unless she gives me a reason not to be. My ears flick forward, ice blue gaze looking her over with curiosity as I stop before her and bow my head in greeting.
"Welcome to Asteraia. What's your name?"
