I was out last weekend and I found it tough as well. I noticed that the saugeye fishing has gotten really tough over the last 3 years. If you dont have the time to fish the lake all the time , its tough. I believe the numbers of fish are down so much that unless you really know the lake well , your going to have to work for them. Ive fished the lake over 15 years and starting about 3 years ago, have done worse each year. Indian Lake really gets fished hard and the fish are very vulnerable to shore dwelling freezer stuffers so I believe it takes a toll after a while. Hopefullly the ODNR will boost stocking rates soon Replies:
