Her ears flickered back slowly, falling back into the depths. Her heart growing cold again and her body feeling numb. She heard his words, the stayed in her head again, still not pushing out the ones from minutes before. She felt his soft fur on her neck, bringing her back once more.

"That's all in the past... I'm trying to forget about it now." She said, trying to perk up a little. She sat up straight. When his paw touched her fur, she looked up at him. Tag. You're it. She felt her face start to hurt, she started smiling again.

She rose up to her feet and dashed forward, leaping into the shallows after him.
