Guys/Gals, Donnie has given myself permission to hold a fundraiser HR derby during the In it to Win it tourney on 5/2 at Kettering Fields. I will copy the information below. I'd like to say thanks in advance for those who can participate, it means alot.
During the In It To Win It tourney on 5/2, there will be a Homerun Derby ran throughout the day. This will be a Benefit type derby, with the winner receiving a NIW Easton L2, 26 oz. The remaining proceeds will go towards Nathan and Jared Dittmar’s (currently playing for Lawn Lizzards) mother who is currently fighting Breast Cancer. These two have been part of the Dayton Softball community for a few years now, and are reaching out for some support, while hoping to have a good time. Keep in mind this is a fundraiser, so we are going to run it through the day of the tourney, with unlimited re-entries. Donnie Brewer has been a huge support in helping allow this during his tourney, so we’d like to give a big thanks to him!

Date: 5/2
Location: In it to WIN it, Kettering Fields. *Field will be posted day of tourney*
Time: 11am., and will have the cutoff for entries at 4pm
Format: $10 - 12 pitches, 10 swings, leader after the cutoff wins. In the event of a tie, we will do a hit off. Re-Entries are unlimited at $10 with same format, so swing as many times as you want, it’s for a good cause!! Provide your own pitcher, we will provide balls, swing ANY bat…
Winner: Winner will receive a NIW, Easton L2 26 oz. which was donated for this event. In the event of an awesome turn out, we may throw in some $ as well.
