I find myself quite pleased with myself for making it to the border. I did not think I would be able to, but I was determined to see who it was that called for me. I haven’t been called before and I didn’t want to make them wait too long for me. Yet when I get closer and see the familiar white shiny pelt of the mountain wolf I cannot help, but pick up my pace. It does not bother me that I trip on my own paws. I do not care about my actions. I do not have to be perfect to her. I can be me, sickly me, and I am sure she wouldn’t mind. As I press my form into her own, allowing ivory and ebony furs to melt between one another, I slide my dial down her back and leave it there. My bright eyes close as I relax and inhale in peace. I do feel sadness coming from her and I cannot understand why, because I hadn’t done anything. I know last time we met she had been attacked by the former Queen of Iromar, but there wasn’t anything to fear now. The wolves that would bring pain and agony to others were gone. I heard whispers that there was another pack that would replace the terrible stain of Iromar. Part of me is pleased with this, because it will allow us some time to rebuild ourselves and prove to everyone that we are a decent pack. Yet it is also terrifying, because they could threaten our way of living. Especially because their Alpha was once our prisoner before she overturned Rhae.

As Natu speaks I bring myself to take a few steps backwards. Russet ears twich back and forth as I listen to what she has to say. I know I am not myself, but that she thinks that my own pack is not caring for me is…baffling. I know my pack is not close to one another, but I know my Aithne and Avery care for me, and I am happy that they do. Avery actually ran to Taviora to grab their highly ranked medicine wolf and brought him here. Aithne allowed him to stay within Iromar so that I might be able to survive. Quickly I shake my head when she tells me I must go with her. I cannot leave Iromar. This is my home. Mother sold my soul to Andras and to Iromar. I serve because that is my purpose. To leave Iromar would be dishonor not to myself, but to her promise as well. That is something I cannot do. Softly I speak wanting to reassure her and make her not worry about me.

“Yes, my Alpha and pack are treating me well. I got sick, but we got Sen from Taviora to get me better.”

It is her next statement that causes me to tilt my head to the side in a curious manner. She is sad, but it is not because of me. This is good I think, but now I am the one that is concerned. I sit myself on the ground to make myself rest from my wary trek.

“Congratulations on having pups, but what questions do you have? I will do my best to answer.”
