Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

What had he expected? She could not even begin to imagine. To tell her such things? It was folly! Foolish! Totally and completely selfish and yet, it had frustrated her just the same. It had been enough to make her want to avoid him, and yet it had been just enough honesty from someone (for once) to make her want to stick around just a little while longer. Either way, she knew she could not. Things had always been hard enough with Sleekwing nearby, and she did not need to add to not only her own stress but Rogue's too. After all, she had been the only one to stick around through everything and she had always been the only one to ignite some kind of honest fire within Malina. Still, it was most... agitating. She had stayed nearby to the crags in any case for some time, ambling through the stone pillars and crevices and lapping from the cool river. There was... more on her mind than just that, though.

For starters, where was she going to go? She had promised Haziel that she'd return to Glorall one way or another to help train him and yet, she had not yet. She felt guilt over that, of course, but surely he'd at least be able to emphasize with what it felt like: not only had she been displaced, but so had Rogue and their children. Not only that, but they had both been displaced by the wretched egg of Ava. As if being homeless wasn't bad enough! Now a too-big oaf sat in their den (most likely) brooding over her pseudo-intellect and over exaggerated ego. Plus, she had Melek to worry about too. If her suspicions - and the evidence - had been correct, then there had been a rather unusual amount of wolves having passed away in the last several seasons. Additionally, there had always been just the slightest hint of Diveen in those scents until not so long ago. Well, it didn't take a genius to put all the evidence together into one cohesive conclusion. Melek had been up to no good. Or, at least, she had been witnessing it.

For now, however, she had tried to diminish those concerns. Instead of worrying, she had taken to lazing by the river, sprawled out on her stomach across one of the warm rocks. She watched the water idly, her eyes flickering up and down the stream as her head rested atop her leg. The mid afternoon sun hovered behind the trees across the river, casting rays of light around her. She felt, well, almost a little dramatic. At least she was comfortable and yet, she felt something (or, somebody at least) lurking behind her. For now, she'd ignore them. Let them come, she supposed. She could still give them a run for their money if they even considered laying a tooth on her.
