Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

SEVEN - 42 IN/216 LBS - CASANOVA - ALONE - TOBIAS x AALIYAH
Deadly clutches hold fast to the male’s neck, teeth sinking into the throat of the male as he successfully grips the meal to his body. It is in these moments, when he strangles the life from his quarry even as the black male tore into the flesh of his flank and abdomen, that Reaver’s eyes set upon the older males form. He watches the way he attacks, the tri-colored beast grinding his teeth deeper into the fading prey’s neck. As he chokes the air from him, the green eyed monster at his flank tears his flesh away, and blood soaks the earth. Reaver’s eyes are steadfast upon the male who assisted him in this kill, even as the body goes slack in his grasp. Something about him makes Reaver’s stomach roll in an entirely different way that the hunger that had triggered this attack. Only when the prey’s life is extinguished does he release his hugging hold on the body that the other ravages. He takes a single step back, digging his jaws in deeper and letting gravity do the work. The body falls away, but with a forceful backwards tear he rips the throat from him, blood finally washing his white chest in a warmth that he so desired.

Almost maniacally he devours the flesh he is rewarded, taking it into his mouth bit by bit and then swallowing it down. Only then does he move to the corpse once more. They stand opposite to one another, the black male still nearer to the flank while Reaver approaches the shoulder of their kill. He will not allow this male to take the best bits, those found within the abdomen so juicy and tender. No, Reaver fully intends to get his fill and then bring the remains back to Jaidah and their pups - both born and unborn. He placed a single, immense paw upon the shoulder of the wolf they had brought down together. But even as his lips begin to pull back and his head lowers in a threatening manner, he finally catches one good whiff of this other wolf’s scent. And it is enough to send him mad. His nostrils flared and the bridge of his nose wrinkled in fury. Confusion grips his mind, a madness perhaps akin to that which consumes his father’s mind. The scent was familiar, in fact it was so akin to his own that he was sickened by it.

Ears laced back against his skull in a menacing fashion, but rather than bubbling snarls and incoherent growls he speaks a single, crisp word, breaking the silence that had fallen when the prey had fallen to the ground. “Who?” His coarse voice rumbles, demanding to know who this wolf was, why he was here, and why he smelled like him. He would have his answers. This land had once driven him mad, when first he had come upon it and been unable to leave. But Jaidah had soothed that madness, giving him a place to be himself. So often they played out their sadistic desires upon one another, often drawing blood and sating that need. But this unknown male stirred a different level of derangement in Reaver, and even though he was old and just as viable a target as the wolf they’d just felled, some reservation withheld the attack. Something was knocking at the dam inside his mind, that which blockaded all his memories. Did this male hold the key to tearing it down?
